Contracts Manager

Purpose of the job

The contracts manager is required to:

  • Lead maintenance contract generation and management, including all AHUK functions where necessary
  • Be the accountable manager of your Maintenance Contracts and work together with the Customer Support Managers (CSMs) to liaise with the relevant customers
  • Prepare financial review meetings for maintenance contract performance with XMT and board Members (MD, Finance Director, Civil Business Director)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction & participation to any Lost Deals analysis reviews
  • Demonstrate efficient working relations with interfacing teams

  • Minimum requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in direct customer contact

  • Sales or contract experience within a services environment, preferably aviation

  • Good technical knowledge and ability to understand maintenance requirements for helicopters/aircraft

  • A high level of general education

    Purpose of the job

    The Facilities Assisstant is required to assist the Facilities Manager in all aspects of the efficient operation of the Facilities department including Health and Safety and is the first point of contact with our internal customers, dealing proactively and pragmatically with their queries

    Minimum requirements

    Senior Airworthiness Engineer

    Purpose of the job

    To facilitate and ensure that design solutions meet certification and airworthiness requirements in an effective manner throughout the design process.
    To ensure any reported failures, malfunctions or defects associated with AHUK designs are assessed to determine effects on the continuing airworthiness of the product.
    To ensure any necessary corrective actions are carried out in an appropriate timescales.

    Senior Avionics Design Engineer

    Purpose of the job

    The Senior Avionics Design Engineer is required to provide designs for concept and integration of avionic mission equipment to meet Customer requirements.
    To translate proposed concept into detailed design in compliance with Certification requirements.
    Provide leadership and direction for engineering work packages.

    Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

    Purpose of the job

    The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for providing mechanical design solutions on a wide range of Airbus helicopters for integration of mission equipment ranging from external loads to internal cabin configuration (mission control panels, VIP interior, storage systems) as well as ‘in- service’ support of existing aircraft.

    Minimum requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Minimum of 10 years industry related experience in aircraft/rotorcraft

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience with a lesser formal qualification

  • Understanding of national and international regulatory authorities standards and codes of practice and procedures

  • Proficient in the use of CATIA V5 and AutoCAD Lt

    Purpose of the job

    The Chief Commercial Officer is to provide financial and commercial support to the Head of Defence Business and other members of the Defence Department. This vacancy is more weighted to the financial aspects of the role

    Minimum requirements

    Senior Certification Engineer

    Purpose of the job

    The Senior Certification Engineer is responsible for Airworthiness and Certification activities in support of approval of changes and in service support thereafter.

    Minimum requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Minimum of 10 years industry related experience in aircraft/rotorcraft or equivalent

  • Working Knowledge of FAR/JAR/CS 27 and 29 Certification Specifications

  • Working Knowledge of EASA IR 21J DOA and MAA DAOS process and practices

  • Sound understanding of Aircraft System and Software Safety Analysis processes

  • A broad engineering knowledge of aircraft airframe, electrical and mechanical systems

  • Good working knowledge and well-practiced in compliance findings with certification codes

  • Equipment qualification processes and related standards, (Civil and / or equivalent Military Requirements)

  • Design integration experience and a proven track record of technical knowledge

  • Previous experience as a CVE, or sufficient experience to achieve this role within a short period

  • Basic Security Clearance is required for this position due to Oxford Airport Security requirements

  • Be prepared to travel within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements

    Purpose of the job

    The Technical support analyst will be required to:
  • Provide face to face, telephone and email support
  • Configure, install and maintain desktop and laptop PCs
  • Configuration of telephone handsets
  • Support of audio visual equipment, projectors and Video Conference facilities
  • Manage the resolution of issues, problems, service requests and changes via the AHUK Helpdesk tool
  • Audit of computers to ensure all software is authorised and licensed
  • Maintain an inventory/database of IT hardware and software
  • Minimum requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Security Clearance – existing SC/CTC or no restriction on obtaining it

  • At least six months previous experience in an IT support environment using Microsoft Windows

  • Successful management of helpdesk tickets, measured by resolution against agreed targets

  • Successful Installation of IT equipment measured by targeted dates and user satisfaction surveys
