Maintenance Planner

Overall Purpose of the Job

Responsible for Part M/A8-25 medium/short term planning requirements, Part 145/A8-23 material planning requirements and the production of work-packs to support aircraft scheduled maintenance inputs. Review of Aircraft base maintenance work packages prior to A/C departure. Update of Maintenance tracking system post maintenance interventions. The Part M/A8-25 planner is also responsible for raising and the upkeep of the maintenance forecasting sheet(s).

Experience:

5 years previous experience in a Maintenance Planning role essential

Knowledge of Airbus Helicopter Products and their related MSM’s preferable

B1 Certifying Engineer - Installations

Overall Purpose of the Job

Day to day management of the B1 Certifying Engineer Include:

  • Certifying role that requires an EASA Part 66 Licence with B1.3, (Turbine Rotorcraft). C category an advantage
  • Will be responsible for the mechanical aspects of each modification and the supervision of fitters and the certification of their work
  • The ability to work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Working knowledge of EASA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO. Knowledge of Part 21G an advantage
  • Preparation of a/c to be flown under a Permit to Fly
  • Be able to report progress of a project and outstanding work
  • Prepare helicopters and their documentation post modification in readiness for initial issue of certificate of airworthiness or acceptance by the customer
  • Also required to assist in day to day running of Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

    Installations Mechanical Planner

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    Day to day management of the Installation Mechanical Planner Includes:

  • Accurately interpret data to determine whether parts can be internally or externally manufactured
  • Using data from various sources produce detailed work orders that can be used by the workforce to manufacture, install parts or create kits
  • Regularly review data released from Airbus Helicopters design office
  • Estimate man hours required to carryout work
  • Ensure a steady flow of work orders that remains ahead of workforce demand
  • Create bills of materials for parts ordering
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Ensure all material required are available before releasing work orders to the work force
  • Review completed work orders for accuracy, correct issue status of data used and time taken to complete the work order

    MFTS Senior Aviation and Safety Equipment Technician

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    Day to day management of the AEA-SE Senior Technician Include:

  • Coordinating /managing all issues within AEA Area of Responsibility; setting up procedures/processes, shift plans, leave charts and establishment manning boards to ensure adequate trade cover is available to support MFTS (RW) operations.
  • Informing the Senior Support Manager of any issues forecast shortfalls in manning or trade specialist qualification levels.
  • Ensuring that recruited personnel are suitably qualified and authorised to carry out their duties and that appropriate local training syllabi and records of training are maintained and facilities exist for continuation trade training.
  • Ensuring all applicable Quality Control and Health, Safety and Environmental regulations are carried out.
  • Setting up Defect Investigation (F760 Action) in respect of, AEA/SE.
  • Acting as SME and assisting with the setting up of relevant AEA/SE specific IT requirements/accounts.

    B2 Licensed Engineer

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    Day to day management of the B2 Licensed Engineer will Include the following:

  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  • Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
  • Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems.
  • Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
  • Supervision of avionic and electrical fitters and the certification of their work.
  • Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required.
  • Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    Day to day management of the Quality Auditor Include:

  • Auditing to the Company Internal Audit plan, including visits to Line Stations and Vendors, (some overseas travel may be required).
  • Other duties include:
  • Writing/amending Procedures.
  • Amending Expositions/Quality Manuals.
  • Inputting data to Quality Department Databases.
  • New Vendor approvals.
