Purpose of the job

Reporting to the Chief Certification Engineer / Project Team Leader you would complete AHUK Airworthiness and Certification activities in support of approval of changes and in service support thereafter.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years industry related experience in aircraft/rotorcraft

  • Design Integration experience

  • Aeronautical degree, Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent degree/training/experience

  • Working Knowledge of FAR/JAR/CS 27 and 29 Certification Specifications

    Purpose of the job

    Minimum requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a rotary maintenance environment. Specific type training will be given to a suitable candidate.

    Purpose of the job

  • A critical role within a dynamic Design Office, developing bespoke interiors and mission equipment solutions for Airbus Helicopter Products. Operating within a diverse Organisation with multiple approvals including Flight Test, Production, Part 145 and CAMO.
  • This key role requires broad experience and knowledge of aviation industry at a Type Design and Certification level in both Civil and Military regulatory environments.
  • Acting as focal point and leader for certification, you will ensure consistency within the design teams for robust and cost effective solutions; interfacing with Designers, Compliance Verification Engineers and your own team members. You will also be expected to interface with all functions within the Company as well external Agencies and Customers.

    Maintenance Planner

    Purpose of the job

    Responsible for Part M/A8-25 medium/short term planning requirements, Part 145/A8-23 material planning requirements and the production of work-packs to support aircraft scheduled maintenance inputs. Review of Aircraft base maintenance work packages prior to A/C departure. Update of Maintenance tracking system post maintenance interventions. The Part M/A8-25 planner is also responsible for raising and the upkeep of the maintenance forecasting sheet(s).

    Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ, BTEC).

  • Human factors training undertaken.

    Purpose of the job

    To Provide Part “M” Airworthiness Support Function within the Technical Services Department. This includes but is not exclusive to:

  • Periodical reviews of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes against fleet Maintained Aircraft.
  • Implementing/validating changes to the Maintenance Programmes in the MIS arising from revisions to the AMP ensure compliance against aircraft configuration.
  • Monitoring and implementing actions arising from applicability requirements ascertained as part of incoming airworthiness data review.

    Purpose of the job

  • To facilitate and ensure that design solutions meet certification and airworthiness requirements in an effective manner throughout the design process.

    RAF Benson Puma Mk2 Technical Representative (Mechanical)

    Purpose of the job

    The RAF Benson Puma Mk2 Technical Representative (Mechanical) is responsible for providing Airbus Helicopters (AH) underwritten advice to UK MOD for the AH design elements of the UK MOD operated Puma Mk2 platform. You must act as a focal point for all Puma Mk2 technical issues. You will be required to attend regular meetings with UK MOD and represent the AH. You must act as a vital link in the Airworthiness information chain.

    Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 10 years Helicopter Maintenance Engineer or ex-MoD Aircraft Engineer/Technician.

  • Experience in customer technical support.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Certifying Engineer Standard Level 3/ONC/OND.

  • Engineering experience working on Puma helicopters.

  • Possess the necessary experience and qualifications to be able to offer high quality technical advice and support.

  • Have the necessary level of experience to give basic repair advice on non-vital structures in line with AH policies and technical publications.

  • Knowledge in use of Aircraft Technical Publications.

    Regional Engineer

    Purpose of the job

    We are seeking a Regional Engineer to Provide Line Support for aircraft based at Police and Air Ambulance line stations in Western England & Wales. This is a Field based role, however from time to time there will be a requirement to attend our bases at Hawarden or Oxford to assist with base or line maintenance activity.
    The successful candidate will report to the maintenance operations manager and be primarily responsible for performing routine visits, scheduled line maintenance and defect rectification at customer line stations. This will require close liaison with the customer, planning and the AHUK customer support manager.

    Minimum requirements

  • At least 8 years aircraft maintenance experience with 2 years in a civilian environment. Predominantly on Airbus Helicopter products, particularly the EC135

  • Licensed B1.3 engineer

  • Type rated on the EC135 helicopter

  • Clean driving license
